I found this gem at an Air Force Air Show in Spokane, WA in the survival exposition. I immediately did the research and determined that it would be money well spent.I hate the side zippers because one side will overheat and the other side freeze. Add to the center zip was the extremely small packing size. My other sleeping bag filled three quarters of my backpack, while this wonderful bag took up less than a quarter of the backpack.On top of these two pluses, I took this out on a three day trip in WA. The temperature went down to just above freezing. I was able to sleep with the hood over my head without waking up during the night to toss and turn or freezing/overheating. I was totally amazed. I have never slept through the night in any other bag, especially with a hood. This bag has been a godsend for my trips. I can also add any type of liner to adjust the bag's temperature rating without using up too much pack space.This bag is rated for two seasons. Bag liners will increase the temperature rating or getting the Special Forces 2 bag will do the same thing. I highly recommend this bag for those who need to release body heat without freezing other body parts.
